Abstract

In this paper, an approach for asynchronous drive testing at different frequency converter parameter settings has been developed. Tests at different settings of the pulse-width modulation frequency were carried out using a specialized laboratory simulator to record the transient processes and the values of the controlled parameters in the steady-state operation. The results obtained have been analyzed to determine the impact of the examined parameter on the drive efficiency and dynamic performance. The experimental verification of the proposed approach proves its applicability in the setting of the frequency converters for drives in various fields of industry and transport.
