Abstract

Addressing the growing negative impacts on global food security due to sociopolitical and environmental challenges, this paper explores the potential of 5G networks and IoT-enabled unmanned agricultural robots in revolutionizing precision agriculture. We discuss how 5G networks facilitate real-time data collection and analysis from various sensors and IoT devices, empowering farmers to make informed decisions on irrigation, fertilization, and pest control, thereby increasing crop yields and reducing environmental impacts.
