For renewable energy system, Maximum Power Point Tracking (MPPT) plays a vital role for efficient conversion of energy. The MPPT strategy is used to control the rotor speed by adjusting electromagnetic torque and maximize the electrical output power of the generator. In this paper, three different control schemes are discussed and implemented in Matlab Simulink environment.
