Home Care utilization in Sergipe-Brazil: applications and mobile devices

Abstract

This work makes a study about the Home Care services in Brazil and Sergipe state, emphasizing the utilization of mobile devices to help on Home Care treatment using a scientific prospection and a exploratory research through survey. Despite of being a widely used approach in the Health research area, few studies were found on the application of mobile devices to help with Home Care in Brazil; using the obtained data, was possible to identify that there is a space to develop new solutions; and in the survey, interviewees reported that mobile applications to help in Home Care would be useful.
