ISO 22301:2019 - a Tool to Increase the Organization's Preparedness to Deal with Crises

Abstract

Crises are part of the daily lives of organizations today. Dealing with them requires adequate management to prevent crisis situations or at least effective management of the organization in a crisis. This presupposes preliminary preparation and elaboration of various behavioral scenarios. Organizations are helped to draw up a crisis action plan. The purpose of the paper is to outline the opportunities provided by the implementation of ISO 22301:2019 for the preparation of management organizations in the event of a crisis situation and maintaining business continuity.
