Abstract

The paper proposes a GPS (Global Positioning System) tracking system for offshore fishing boats. The main objective of the proposed device is to minimize IUU (Illegal Unreported and Unregulated) fishing and develop sustainable fishing. There is a new demand in the world especially in Europe to import fish products only from sustainable fishing sources.
