Impact of the sanctions on the activities of the diamond complex in Russia

Abstract

Функционирование социально-экономической системы алмазно-бриллиантового комплекса России в настоящее время осложняется введенными внешними санкциями, которые ограничили или прекратили взаимоотношения с некоторыми участниками рынка. Одной из реакций предприятий комплекса является разработка и введение антикризисных программ с целью сохранения жизнедеятельности и восстановление стабильности предприятия в критической ситуации. В то же время формируется потребность в разработке альтернативных сценариев развития предприятия с учетом сложившейся ситуации на рынке, выбор стратегии и принципов действия. Особенность функционирования системы алмазно-бриллиантового комплекса заключается в том, что реализуемый продукт ‒ алмазы-бриллианты ‒ является предметом роскоши и носит дискреционный характер, следовательно в кризисный период необходимо стимулировать и мотивировать спрос потребителей. В данной статье рассмотрена взаимосвязь «санкции‒предприятие» в кризисной ситуации и то, каким образом она повлияет на жизнестойкость предприятия. В результирующей части даны предложения к выполнению антикризисных мероприятий, способных восстановить и стабилизировать предприятие. The functioning of the socio-economic system of the Russian diamond complex is currently complicated by the imposed external sanctions, which have limited or terminated relations with some market participants. One of the reactions of the enterprises of the complex is the development and introduction of anti-crisis programs in order to preserve life and restore the stability of the enterprise in a critical situation. At the same time, there is a need to develop alternative scenarios for the development of the enterprise, taking into account the current market situation, the choice of strategy and principles of action. The peculiarity of the functioning of the system of the diamond complex lies in the fact that the product being sold: diamonds is a luxury item and is discretionary, therefore, in a crisis period, it is necessary to stimulate and motivate consumer demand. This article discusses the relationship “sanctions-enterprise” in a crisis situation and how it will affect the viability of the enterprise. In the resulting part, proposals are given for the implementation of anti-crisis measures that can restore and stabilize the enterprise.
