The simulation results shown that the plastic deformation of aluminum strand increases with the tension. Abstract

When the conductor passes through the pulley with large wrap angle during construction of overhead transmission lines, it is easy to cause the deformation and looseness of aluminum strands of conductor. The conductor is researched in this paper on the deformation of aluminum strand of the conductor passing through the pulley under different tensions. The finite element analysis model of conductor is established by beam element, and the model is calculated with different working conditions under the bending loading and unloading states. The simulation results shown that the plastic deformation of aluminum strand increases with the tension. 铝绞线导体变形仿真分析
