ADEQUACY OF THE LEVEL OF PENSION PROVISION AS A DETERRENT TO ECONOMIC GROWTH

Abstract

The article defines the main approaches of international organizations to assessing the adequacy of pension provision. The author identified the key problems of assessing the domestic pension system, on the basis of which a set of proposals was formed to create a system of indicators for assessing the adequacy of the level of pension provision. They will allow monitoring the implementation of pension policy goals, assessing the impact of accompanying measures on the achievement of target indicators in the field of pension provision. Also, the author assessed the degree of influence of these indicators on the rate of economic growth.
