Therefore, research into how to produce and / or adapt learning materials using assistive technologies to make them accessible to all and to establish guidelines for achieving this goal is essential. The present work seeks to know successful practices in adapting assessment tools for deaf students. As we know, the evaluation of this public in the phase of schooling is common in the state school system, because all students are evaluated on a large scale and, in this sense, the equality of duty is maintained. In order to understand how material adaptation can occur in the context of school assessment, this study sought to understand what assessment is from an inclusive and large-scale perspective and how assistive technology emerges and strengthens the communicational accessibility that must be present in the provision of such materials. exams, such as the Pernambuco Education Assessment System (SAEPE). Therefore, the importance of reviewing articles, books and magazines that address the studied subject and also the linguistic context that involves the teaching and learning process of the deaf student, is in its first language (L1), the Brazilian Sign Language.
