THE SEMANTIC FIELD OF CONCEPT «RESPECT» AND ITS DIRECT CORRELATIONS WITH CONCEPT “HUMAN BEING” IN DIFFERENT SYSTEM OF LANGUAGES

Abstract

The article analyzes the semantic structure of the concept “respect” and its correlations to the concept “Human being”. The modern content of the key lexeme “respect” of the concept under study gives more possibilities to determine a nationwide view at the content of the given concept. The meanings which are given in different etymological dictionaries only distinguish some cognitive science, but do not fully embody all of its modern features. The concept “respect” refers to the ability to value and honor another person, without trying to change them. Respecting another person is not judging them by their attitudes, behaviors or thoughts. It is not expected from him to be a different person. Respect is the most important criteria for a human being and is used only towards to people, so concept “respect” is meaningless without concept “human being”, also concept “human being” is not fully opened without correlation of concept “respect”. They are mutually interdependent.
