Abstract
The presented paper gives enlarged understanding of the induction through-heating processes for longitudinal and transverse flux systems. The cut or welded strips with different thickness and width are coming over the inductors with different fluxes in the heating process. Different kinds of the numerical systems have been developed and investigated for description of the dynamic changing in electromagnetic and thermal environments with various geometrical parameters of the workpiece [1]. The induction systems have almost similar geometry of the inductors, shields and thermal insulation to show the difference between the separate processes of the through-heating.
