Abstract

This article deals with the peculiarities of proverbs and sayings on the example of German and British cultures, formed in the process of extralinguistic factors influence. Purpose. The aim of the article is to identify the universals and uniqueness of German and British linguistic cultures illustrated with the proverbs and sayings functioning in modern German and English.
