Abstract

This contribution attempts to examine the meaning of the constitution and the evolution of the purposives of a singular educational structure : children’s vacation camps. Three periods are considered : 1876-1950; 1950-1980; 1980-2001. Specified for each of these periods, are the types of relationships between four levels : political, religious and social purposives, educational purposives, educational institutions and pedagogues.
