Abstract
This paper presents the real-time simulation of a Buck converter designed to create an educational platform. The real-time simulation is based on the solution of the equations of every topological state of the converter, which are solved by an integration method that allows obtaining the time-domain response of the circuit. The algorithm is implemented in a realtime platform based on FPGA (SPARTAN III). Besides, by using a visual programming language as LabVIEW, an interactive interface, that facilitates visualizing the converter response, is presented.
