Abstract

Recent advances in Functional Electrical Stimulation technologies allow for progressive, selective and reproducible muscle control. It becomes possible to control and simulate its behavior in order to optimize the generation and control of restricted movement for the flexion-extension study of the paraplegic limb elbow. In order to achieve this, the first step is to develop muscle models and geometric and dynamic models of all activated members.
