Abstract

This work propose a power line (PL) channel identification methodology based on the impulse response theory using low cost digital standard technology. In order to achieve efficient broadband communications over PL channels in Small-Office Home-Office environments, it is necessary to improve the indoor PL channel models. Then the proposed methodology and model makes practical to generate a large database of channel responses for statistical analysis.
