Results: In the pre-test, 36% of the study subjects had good knowledge about dengue whereas 26% had poor knowledge scores. There was a marked improvement in the post-test knowledge scores. Chi-square test revealed that in the pre-test there is a significant association between the demographic variables, age, gender, educational qualification, and previous knowledge with the knowledge scores where as the post-test showed significant association of knowledge scores with the demographic variables age and educational qualification on DF.
