The purpose of this paper is to analyze the performance of existing non-linear precoding schemes in correlated Multi-User Multiple-Input- Multiple-Output (MU-MIMO) channels, and to validate their advantages compared to linear techniques. Although NLP schemes show better performance, their complexity is high. Abstract
Among various precoding techniques proposed in the standardization phase for 3rd Generation Partnership Project (3GPP) 5G New Radio (NR), Non-Linear Precoding (NLP) schemes gained quite an interest.
