Abstract
At present there is considerable interest in the application of multi-configuration optimization methods to systems which are not simple zoom lenses or scanning systems. In particular, the ability to carry out an optimization in which different configurations represent different temperatures is extremely useful and we will discuss in detail how this can be achieved.
