This research was conducted by rainfed farmers in Lembor Village Brondong, Lamongan. This research uses a phenomenological qualitative research method and analyzed inductively. The findings of this study indicate that workers who work in rainfed agriculture have flexibility in the work activities carried out, work time, and wages received. Other findings of composition and availability of labour tend to be dominated by labour / old farmers because young people in agriculture is very small focus. Besides that, in conducting agricultural activities, the farmers also involve the family as labour, especially the wife. Workforce needs are only based on the planting period, so the composition of the workforce changes according to needs. Availability is also decreasing; farmers find it very difficult to become workers. Thus, the need for rainfed agricultural labour is very flexible. Older workers dominate the composition, and its availability changes as needed. Suggestions for farmers to take advantage of the management of paddy fields by planting others so that they do not rely solely on rainfed.
