Abstract
The nonmesonic lifetime in the HQH Model is closely related to the ΔI=1/2 rule, and we obtain a good fit to the 12ΛC lifetime with a quark Hamiltonian which satisfies this rule. Hypernuclear structure with an accurate shell model is particularly crucial for proton‐ vs. neutron‐stimulated Λ decays.
