Berdasarkan rendahnya skor usabilitas tersebut, maka dilakukan redesign menggunakan pendekatan Human Centered Design (HCD). Tujuan dilakukannya redesign ini adalah untuk meningkatan skor usabilitas pada website tersebut. Setelah dilakukan redesign menggunakan pendekatan Human Centered Design (HCD) dan pengujian menggunakan metode System Usability Scale (SUS) diperoleh skor usabilitas pada skor 73,5. Skor tersebut sudah masuk dalam tingkat Acceptable pada kategori Acceptability Range, pada kategori Adjective Ratings berada pada tingkat Good dan Grade Scale pada tingkatan B. Terlihat bahwa setelah dilakukan redesign terjadi peningkatan skor usabilitas, sehingga website Sistem Informasi Teknik Elektro Universitas Negeri Gorontalo dapat diklasifikasikan sebagai “above average” sesuai dengan minimal skor menurut Jeff Sauro.  The usability test score on the website of the Electrical Engineering Information System of Universitas Negeri Gorontalo, which was tested using the System Usability Scale (SUS) method, was only at a score of 57,5. Abstract

Skor pengujian usabilitas pada website Sistem Informasi Teknik Elektro Universitas Negeri Gorontalo yang diuji dengan metode System Usability Scale (SUS) hanya berada pada skor 57,5. Pada kategori Acceptability Range berada pada tingkat marginal, sedangkan pada kategori Adjective Ratings berada pada tingkat OK, dan kategori Grade Scale pada skala D. Berdasarkan rendahnya skor usabilitas tersebut, maka dilakukan redesign menggunakan pendekatan Human Centered Design (HCD). Tujuan dilakukannya redesign ini adalah untuk meningkatan skor usabilitas pada website tersebut.
