Abstract

Increasing environmental issues, globalization activities, and governmental policies have compelled manufacturing organizations to adopt strategies that can improve environmental performance along with achieving operational objectives. Green lean six sigma (GLSS) is an emerging strategy that can aid manufacturing organizations in mitigating environmental impacts such as wastewater pollution, air emissions, resource depletion, and energy consumption. However, organizations face immense challenges in implementing green lean six sigma as an integrated approach.
