Unlike normal exten ded f o i l or d i s c bypass c a p a c i t o r s ( i . e . , mylar, m e t a l l i z e d p o l y s t y r e n e , m e t a l l i z e d mylar, ceramic and m i c a ) , they do not sh arp ly r e s o n a t e wi th t h e i r own i n t e r n a l and lea d ind uctance a t some f r e ­ quency , turn i n d u c t i v e and s t o p a c t i n g l i k e f i l t e r s a t high f r e q u e n c i e s .
