Abstract

Induction Motors are generally utilized as a part of the modern application because of a high reliability, high power and minimum cost. The simulation study of speed control of IM using SPWM techniques are carried out. The execution of both the torque and speed is advanced by an altered PI controller and Volt/Hz control. A scalar control is a straightforward technique and it's worked to control the size of the control amounts in consistent speed application. Volt/Hz control has been simulated using MATLAB Simulink and compared with the PI controller.
