Interkulturell, intertextuell: wie José F.A. Oliver ein Erbe (Lorca, Benn, Celan) fortsetzt

Abstract

The paper proceeds from the assumption that the works of the three authors can be read as various interpretations in the tradition line of the modernity, whereby Gottfried Benn and Paul Celan already function as milestones within a literary and cultural phenomenon which shades its light far into the contemporary poetry such as in the work of the German speaking author with migrational background José F.A. Oliver. The paper provides an in sight into the poetics of the three authors, focussing on the way in which the last one deals with the modernist heritage left by his precursors, reinterpreting and reinscribing it.
