Abstract

This study explored the impact of the development of Fifth Generational (5G) mobile communication technology on the successful development and diffusion of mobile government services. The development of the 5G mobile network has resonated around the world with many countries undertaking to pilot, test and experiment this technology for a full roll-out in 2020. 5G mobile communications can be the foundation and basis for the development, enhancement, and enrichment of mobile government applications and services for citizens and businesses.
