Abstract

The article discusses the psychological characteristics of the adaptive behavior of a serviceman during his stay in captivity. The analysis of psychological factors influencing the behavior of a serviceman during capture and during his stay in it is made. The genesis of mimicry is analyzed, the psychological characteristics and varieties of mimicry behavior of the individual are investigated. The presented research results make it possible to form a holistic view of the mechanisms of functioning, expression and interpretation of emotions, which affect the mimicry behavior of a serviceman from the moment of being captured until the moment of his release.
