In this article, the comparison of automatic control systems for an objects with self-adjusting based on PI (Proportional Integral) controller, PID (Proportional Integral Differential) controller and MPC (Model predictive) controller are considered. During the research, the control object was described by the second-order transfer function. The advantages and characteristics of controllers are described. The parameters of linear controllers and MPC controller were determined based on the structure of the control object. A mathematical model is constructed using the application Matlab (Fig. 3). Based on the mathematical model, step responses were obtained when a control activation (Fig. 4) and various disturbing action (Fig. 5, 6, 7).
