Abstract
The current research aims to identify the correlation between the generative thinking skills of fifth-grade students in physics and the academic achievement of fifth-grade students in physics, and to achieve this, the researchers built a test for generative thinking in physics. It consists of (33) test items of the type of essay and objective tests, and the achievement test for physics consists of (40) items of the type of objective tests. The obtained results showed that the students of the fifth scientific grade have a good level of generative thinking and academic achievement, as well as the existence of a direct correlation between the two variables in the research sample.
