Abstract

This paper presents the harmonic current compensation and reactive power compensation using shunt active power line conditioner for the power distribution system. The compensation is based on the separation of fundamental component from the harmonic current drawn by the load. This separation is done using Synchronous Reference Frame (SRF) based control method.
