Methods: Ten flat feet without plantar fasciitis symptoms (age: 21.2 ± 1.03 years, height: 170 ± 8.33 cm, weight: 70.21 ± 9.14 kg, arch index: .37 ± .02) and ten flat feet with plantar fasciitis symptoms (age: 25.7 ± 6.49 years, height: 166 ± 8.27 cm, weight: 69.65 ± 16.95 kg, arch index: .35 ± .02) participated in this study. The participant performed three running at a self-selected speed. Eight infrared high-speed cameras and one force platform were used to collect multi-foot segment kinematics. Results: The flat feet with plantar fasciitis symptoms demonstrated smaller fore-foot dorsiflexion angle at initial contact than flat feet without plantar fasciitis symptoms (p = .02; Effect size = 1.07). Other variables were not significant (p > .05).
