Attributed graph grammars are a powerful way of describing transformations of complex structures. Attributed graph grammars have been applied to describe visual languages, distributed systems, chemical reactions, music analysis and much else. Graphics combine the geometry of human vision with the geometry of visual space. Graphic vertices model basic percept elements, graphic edges model percept and neighbour relations, attribute Sigma-algebras formalise space locations on space and transformations, while graphic grammars give rules that express perceived shapes. Graphics production can capture similarities of shapes, as a restriction of the graphic analogy reasoning on visual space.
