Abstract

This paper displays the investigation and outline of a negative output Luo converter for the enhancement of power quality as far as enriched power factor and less source current Total Harmonic Distortion (THD). This negative output Luo converter can be used for all kind of AC-DC applications operating under the universal supply voltage of 90 V-260 V. This converter either works in Continuous Conduction Mode (CCM) or Discontinuous Conduction Mode (DCM).
