Abstract

A finite element model (CAM) of a sample of a non-metallic part of a pneumatic spring of road machines has been prepared. The 3-D model was prepared for a virtual calculation. A grid was created for a sample model of the non-metallic part. Material for the calculation of the CAM was selected and the virtual calculation was carried out. The calculation results were analyzed for compliance with the actual results of test of samples. The capabilities of the LS-Dyna software package for engineering analysis were demonstrated. The impact of computer-aided design systems on modern engineering solutions was assessed.
