The relationship between the theoretical average flow rate and the instantaneous flow rate of the flowmeter is calculated according to the rotation position of the elliptic gear pair. According to the pulsation characteristic of the flowmeter, the pulsation suppression scheme is designed to eliminate the flow pulsation and make the output flow constant. Then, the simplified two-dimensional diagram is imported into FLUENT for numerical simulation of flow meter, and the result diagram of velocity field and pressure field in the elliptic gear flow meter is obtained. The results show that: the change of eccentricity will change the instantaneous flow change of the elliptic gear flowmeter; The flow pulsation can be eliminated by adding a pair of variable speed non-circular gear pair. The generated pressure and velocity cloud map reflects the real situation of the oil in the cavity, which proves that the model is correct and feasible without interference.
