The acquisition process is the first part of the signal processing chain and task of this process is to find a distance measuring code in the received signal, determine its relative displacement to the time base of the receiver and determine the frequency offset. Due to search of code phase in time domain and frequency offset in frequency domain it is time-consuming process essential for getting lock on signal. Abstract
This paper is aimed at analysis of selected conditions influencing signal acquisition capability.
