Abstract

This paper presents the performance of V-BLAST and STBC on MIMO-OFDM.V-BLAST is superior in terms of spectral efficiency and bit error rate. The performance analysis of V-BLAST based multiple input multiple output orthogonal frequency division multiplexing (MIMO-OFDM) system also analyzed with respect to bit error rate per signal to noise ratio (BER/SNR) for various detection techniques i.e. zero forcing (ZF), minimum mean square error (MMSE) and maximum likelihood (ML).
