Abstract

The article tells about little-known scientists and engineers who have devoted their lives to the creation of domestic computer technology. Using the example of creating the Elbrus-KB computing complex, we demonstrate the features of the approach to implementing new ideas. The author also gives an opinion about the great potential of the ideas and capabilities of the Russian engineering school as an example of the revival of the idea of a ternary computer, which was implemented by N.P. Brusnetsov in the 60s of the last century.
