Abstract
The results of monostatic radar sensing of a partially non-reciprocal object over the background of the underlying surface, under real observation conditions are presented. As the radar object, an artificial passive reflector was used, the basis of which is an aerial antenna of full polarization reception, the output of which is shorted, and a magnetized ferrite rod is placed inside the receiving - transmitting feeder (round waveguide), which performs the functions of a non-reciprocal phase shifter for the electromagnetic signal emitted and received by the antenna. The object was sounded by monostatic coherent radar with full polarizing scanning. The experimental results confirm the theoretical basis for describing the backscattering of electromagnetic waves by partially non-reciprocal objects.
