BANKING LOBBYING IN MODERN RUSSIA AS A FORM OF LOBBYING

Abstract

The article analyzes different points of view on the notion of lobbying, reveals common and exquisite features of these concepts. It is concluded that the lobbying is the activities aimed at making decisions by representatives of state authorities to satisfy the interests of groups of individuals. It is necessary to include the legal and illegal forms of lobbying in the concept. The practice of lobbying banking interests in modern Russia is considered. Examples are given of the influence of the banking lobby on making changes in laws, including the example of lobbying during the reform of the Civil Code of the Russian Federation on financial transactions. The modern classifications of lobbyism are considered. On their example, conclusions are drawn about the characteristics of banking lobbying as a kind of lobbying. Banking lobbying has a constant, planned, strategic, professional character. It refers to sectoral, financial lobbying.
