Abstract

This paper provides a research approach in developing and automating an Augmented Reality (AR) environment for engineering distance learners. By capturing and modelling the on-campus tutor knowledge into a virtual tutor for teaching and assessing practical skills of engineering distance learners. The research proposed and developed a knowledge based educational framework (KBEd).
