Interconnection of solar and grid is a most demanding topic now a days. The main purpose of this paper is to develop control strategy for cascaded H-bridge multilevel inverter with PV array as separate DC source. Modular topology helps to improve efficiency and flexibility of PV system. Used individual MPPT technique for each solar panel to extract maximum power from the solar panel and used individual control scheme of each dc link voltage. For the three phase grid connected application, there is unbalanced supplied power due to PV mismatches. To solve this problem used control scheme with modulation compensation. Simulation result is representing to verify control method. Abstract
This paper presents a three phase five level cascaded H-bridge photovoltaic inverter with MPPT for grid connected application. Interconnection of solar and grid is a most demanding topic now a days.
