Abstract
The use of Kahn method or envelope tracking transmitters in communication systems will increase their efficiency. However, the modulation power supply used in these transmitters can become a source of RF signal distortions. This article establishes the influence of the modulation power supply characteristics on the FTN signals distortions based on the bit error rate, Euclidean distance and the level of out-of-band harmonics.
