A prediction of the Diffusion of Amyloid Beta And its Mechanism

Abstract

Various studies have shown a strong link between the pathology of the Amyloid Beta in the brain and the development of the disease. However, we found that there is a fixed pattern of the progression of the pathology of Amyloid Beta in mice brains, i.e., it originates from the same place and spreads fixedly. In this work, we design two experiments to verify whether the Amyloid Beta originates in the hippocampus and spread to the entire cortex separately. We predicted six possible results, based on this hypothesis, covering all possible experimental results of both parts are included and analyzed separately. The animal models required to perform the experiments as well as the analytical methods are also provided.
