THE TECHNOLOGY OF FORMING CRITICAL THINKING AS A MEANS OF OVERCOMING XENOPHOBIA AND INTOLERANCE AMONG YOUNG PEOPLE

Abstract

In the article the author reveals the relevance of critical thinking development in the context of growing information chaos in the Internet space and other information channels, as well as in the context of growing interethnic and social tension. The article describes the technology for the formation of critical thinking among university students: its stages, methods, techniques and means proposed by the author. The results of a survey among students of Kazan In­ novative University named after V.G. Timiryasov, aimed at identifying the ability to think critically, are presented.
