Abstract

ethnic-social status (criollos, mulattoes, mestizo, indigenous), considers the concept of discursive tradition. The various types of petition letters are analyzed according to structure, formulaic expressions, and linguistic elements that suit the purposes of the petitioners, in order to determine the most striking characteristics of each letter.
