Abstract

In this paper, a frequency-domain equalization architecture for the downlink over a space-time block coded MIMO-CDMA system is proposed. This architecture exploits transmit diversity by equally dividing the N T (N T =2Q, Q is a positive integer) transmit antennas into Q groups and implementing an Alamouti-like space-time block coding scheme for each group.
