Abstract

In response to severe sea conditions such as high temperature, high humidity, high salt, and high vibration, shipborne video surveillance systems have a higher failure rate and more difficult maintenance than traditional terrestrial video surveillance systems. Delayed and ineffective methods for maintenance will have a serious impact on the security of the ship. Also, the equipment selection and construction technology at the initial stage of the construction of the shipborne video surveillance system will also affect the stability of the system’s operation.
